Tristessa

New song entitled "Betrayal" written by Jude Hernandez of Tristessa.

Betrayal
Words and Music by Jude Hernandez

It’s so close I can taste it
Soon be around fill in the sound
When it comes I will place it
Far underground away from this town
I don’t know just where I belong it makes it harder to stay

Deep in the hole here I’ll be waiting
Protecting the one I have found
You are the cause of the situation break down

When your tears hit the sky you will realize
What it all means, torn from the seams
Crawling out from the inside
Down on your knees so strange and obscene
You’re there on the floor, I’ve settled the score, and I’ve got no reason to stay

You’ve been betrayed by the hand that feeds you
Now you can kill with a smile
You are so sure that your love’s been destined to die

This is the video for Beautiful Muse.  My friend Neo Thao directed it, based on concepts we put together.  It stars Jade Rivas, Mandy Hernandez, Lia Oritz, and myself of course.  We taped it at Chino Hills Regional Park, the same location where the album cover was photographed.

*Trivia - We didn’t have a a portable radio, and the speakers we had did not work with my iPod.  In order to hear the music and make sure the timing was in sync, I had to wear my iPod behind me and the earphones were taped to the back of my head.
